Zimbabwe has a rich architectural identity shaped by its climate, landscape, culture, communities and changing economic needs. As the country continues to develop, architecture has an important role to play in creating buildings and spaces that are not only visually compelling, but practical, sustainable and responsive to the people who use them.

“We don’t just design buildings. We design legacies.”

At Up North Architect, we believe good architecture begins with understanding its context. Established in 2019, our practice is proudly Zimbabwean with a global outlook, bringing together innovation, sustainability and timeless design to respond to the opportunities and challenges of Zimbabwe’s built environment. From private residences and estates to commercial complexes, educational facilities, institutional buildings, industrial developments and public spaces, our work is guided by the belief that every project should have a clear purpose and lasting value.
